Abstract

The widow of one of the pilots killed in a plane crash is suing Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google, for wrongful death. The crash occurred when the plane, a Viking Twin Air 400 Series Twin Otter, was attempting to return to California after launching on a ferry flight to Fiji. The lawsuit claims that the temporary internal auxiliary fuel tank failed to transfer fuel to the main tanks, causing the crew to turn back without enough fuel. The suit also alleges that Brin deliberately hindered efforts to recover the wreckage and the bodies of the pilots. [Extracted from the article]
