FDA Approves Onivyde for First-line Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer.

The article reports on the approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Onivyde (irinotecan liposome) as a first-line treatment of adult patients with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The drug is indicated to be used with the chemotherapy regimen of oxaliplatin, fluorouracil and leucovorin (NALIRIFOX).
