Research Data from University Hospital of Ferrara Update Understanding of Heart Attack (Effect of Physical Activity On Left Ventricular Dimensions and Function After Myocardial Infarction: a Systematic Review).

A systematic review conducted by researchers at the University Hospital of Ferrara in Italy examined the effect of physical activity on left ventricular dimensions and function in patients with myocardial infarction (heart attack). The review analyzed 20 relevant articles published in English and peer-reviewed journals up to November 2022. The findings suggest that physical activity has beneficial effects on left ventricular parameters, as assessed by echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance.
