Abstract
- Researchers from Sichuan University in Chengdu, China have developed a method to improve the transdermal delivery of vitamin C for alleviating skin photodamage. The researchers created microneedle particles (MNPs) using a 3D printing process, which increased the permeability of medications when applied to the skin of mice. The study suggests that this technique has potential applications in the future treatment of skin photodamage. The research was funded by various organizations in China and has been peer-reviewed.
