Abstract

The assessment of manufacturability of fiberglass parts in small-scale and repair production is presented. The objects of study are materials based on epoxy binders, the curing of which occurs at elevated temperatures. To compare the manufacturability of various molding processes, composites based on dispersed fillers and thermoplastic matrices are also considered. The results of expert assessments of manufacturability are presented, which show that molding processes, consisting of technological operations that are similar in content, differ significantly from each other in cost and material intensity.
