Strategy Formation in Canadian Government Corporations in Business.

This paper describes some results from a four year longitudinal research study of Canadian government controlled corporations engaged in business activities. It summarizes findings with respect to the characteristics of their strategic evolution, the form and degree of external intervention, and the autonomy and discretion of corporate managers.
