Abstract
- A recent study conducted in Chiba, Japan examined the pathology of dorsal wrist pain in gymnasts. The researchers aimed to identify abnormal wrist sagittal kinematics in gymnasts with this type of pain. The study found that gymnasts with dorsal wrist pain exhibited abnormal wrist sagittal kinematics, including lower radiolunate joint angles and higher capitolunate joint angles and distal translations compared to gymnasts without dorsal wrist pain. These findings contribute to the understanding of dorsal wrist pain and suggest the existence of a new syndrome called "gymnast's lunate dyskinesia." [Extracted from the article]
