Abstract
- A recent study conducted by the University of Bergen in Bangladesh aimed to assess the effectiveness of an eRegistry for antenatal care compared to an unshared digital client record. The study found that there were no significant differences between the two groups in terms of timely attendance at antenatal care visits and hypertension screening and management. However, the intervention group had lower rates of perinatal mortality and severe perinatal morbidities. The study faced challenges in implementation and data collection, and therefore, definitive interpretations of the trial results could not be drawn. [Extracted from the article]
