Abstract
- A new study conducted by researchers at the IRCCS Istitute Giannina Gaslini in Genoa, Italy, explores the perceptions and needs of physicians, individuals with hemophilia, and their caregivers regarding the management of routine visits during regular follow-ups. The study utilized the Delphi method and administered a structured questionnaire to 139 participants, including hemophilia treaters, patients, and caregivers. The results highlight the importance of in-depth discussions during routine visits, covering medical aspects, non-medical aspects, logistical-organizational aspects, and visit duration and telemedicine integration. The study emphasizes the holistic management of individuals with hemophilia, considering both therapeutic and non-therapeutic domains. [Extracted from the article]
