Abstract
- This article discusses a study on the effects of surface treatments and mouthwash on the bond strength of temporary restorative materials. The study found that sandblasting increased bond strength, while hydrofluoric acid etching decreased it. The type of cement used and the presence of mouthwash also had varying effects on bond strength. The study suggests that the choice of material and cement should be made carefully, taking into account their compatibility and the potential interaction with mouthwash. The study also highlights the importance of considering other factors that can affect bond strength and recommends using specific surface treatments and materials for better results. However, it should be noted that the study was conducted in vitro and further research is needed. This information can be useful for researchers and dental professionals studying and selecting materials for dental procedures. [Extracted from the article]
