Abstract

German wind power output is expected to reach a record high next week due to an approaching storm. The production from thousands of turbines in Germany is forecasted to peak at 57,949 megawatts on Monday, surpassing the previous record set in December. Wind power, along with solar, accounted for over half of Germany's total power supplies last year. The storm is also expected to increase wind speeds in the UK and the Nordic region, with the UK's Met Office issuing weather warnings. Additionally, the storm will bring milder temperatures to the region. [Extracted from the article]
