Abstract

The ITMA textile machinery exhibition held in Milan in June 2023 demonstrated a strong demand for international, face-to-face events. This was a positive development for Monforts, a textile finishing technology specialist, and its major customer, GtA. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, ITMA 2023 attracted over 111,000 visitors and generated numerous potential projects for Monforts. For GtA, the reopening of large-scale international shows is particularly beneficial, as around 70% of their business is related to trade fairs and major public events. GtA specializes in technical textiles for the digital printing market and has invested in a purpose-built plant in Germany to meet the demand for fault-free textile substrates. These substrates are used for digitally-printed banners and hoardings, and GtA's products offer smooth surfaces, vibrant colors, and precise images. The company is committed to quality and energy savings, and it plans to further invest in Monforts technology. GtA aims to become Germany's first climate-neutral textile plant by 2025. Monforts, as a technology leader, is exploring alternative heating options to make the textile finishing process more efficient. They value the expertise and service provided by customers like GtA and are excited to meet customers at upcoming exhibitions in 2023. [Extracted from the article]
