Abstract

A recent study conducted at Kunming University in China has focused on the detection of micro-leakage in artificial blood vessels. The researchers developed a sensing device that utilizes the triboelectrification effect and fluid boundary layer theory to monitor and analyze the voltage and frequency characteristics of the output electrical signal. By doing so, they were able to predict the form of damage, estimate the degree of damage, and locate the area of leakage in the artificial blood vessel. This research provides valuable insights into the development of real-time detection methods for artificial blood vessels, which can greatly benefit patient treatment and rehabilitation.
