Abstract

Attention is drawn to the association of seborrhoeic dermatitis with certain acute heart disorders. The eruption generally appeared a few days after the onset of the acute cardiac symptoms and chiefly affected the face. The dermatitis lasted two to three weeks. The majority of the patients had no previous history of skin disease. It is suggested that the stress due to the cardiac condition is the main precipitating factor. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
