Abstract
- New research on porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) has been published by a researcher at the Pirbright Institute in the United Kingdom. PRRS is a significant infectious disease that affects the global pig industry. The study aimed to identify host proteins that interact with non-structural proteins (NSP1a and NSP1b) of PRRS viruses. The researchers identified several binding partners for NSP1a and NSP1b, which are involved in immune response, ubiquitination, nuclear transport, and protein expression. This study contributes to our understanding of PRRS immunomodulation and could potentially aid in vaccine development. [Extracted from the article]
