Abstract
- Researchers from Qujing Second People's Hospital in China have developed a hybrid machine learning approach to improve the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the most common type of liver cancer. The approach utilizes the Harris Hawks Optimization (HHO) algorithm to select the most suitable features related to HCC for classification. The proposed method demonstrated an accuracy of 97.13%, outperforming other equivalent methods. Early detection of HCC is crucial for successful treatment and improved survival rates.
