Abstract

A study conducted by the University of Warsaw explores the importance of dynamic models in understanding cognition and action. The research highlights the significance of the ecological psychology approach and its contribution to our understanding of the relationship between active bodies and the changing environment. However, the study also acknowledges the challenge of reconciling the information-processing and dynamical approaches to cognition, particularly in explaining how humans use language and think symbolically. The research suggests that embracing a complementary approach to description may help bridge this gap. The study concludes that further developments in this field have the potential to enhance our understanding of cognitive processes. [Extracted from the article]
