Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Shandong Normal University in China has focused on the detection of early atherosclerotic plaques, which are a major cause of cardiovascular diseases. The researchers developed a sequence-activated fluorescence probe that can detect the presence of specific biomarkers associated with atherosclerosis. This noninvasive approach could potentially provide early warning signs of plaque formation and help prevent the progression of the disease. The study was supported by various funding sources and has been peer-reviewed. [Extracted from the article]
