Using Thermal Indicators to Monitor the Condition of Electrical Contacts and Connections during the Operation of Electrical Equipment.

A methodology of using thermal indicators to monitor the condition of electrical contacts and connections of electrical equipment is proposed. The principles of assessing the thermal state of electrical contacts and connections in accordance with current regulatory requirements are considered. Based on the performed research and generalization of the experience of using thermal indicators, principles of selecting such indicators and a methodology of monitoring the condition of electrical contacts and connections with thermal indicators are developed.
