It acknowledges the successes of peacekeeping operations in countries like Sierra Leone and Côte d'Ivoire, as well as the protection of civilians in conflict zones. The article also discusses the division within the international community, the worsening security situation, and the changing nature of conflict. It emphasizes the need for unity, digital transformation, regional cooperation, and a responsible transition process.
