Abstract
- This article discusses a case report of a 24-year-old woman with a rare combination of immature teratoma (IMT) and yolk sac tumor (YST) in her left ovary. The patient underwent surgery to remove the tumor, and subsequent histological analysis confirmed the diagnosis. The patient did not receive chemotherapy due to her desire to preserve fertility. She has been followed up regularly for five years without any recurrence of the disease. The article emphasizes the importance of considering rare pathological forms of malignant ovarian germ cell tumors (MOGCT) and the application of fertility-sparing surgical strategies. It also highlights the need for long-term monitoring and psychological support for young patients with MOGCT. [Extracted from the article]
