Abstract
- Fuel supply at gasoline stations in Iran was disrupted due to a technical problem that may have been caused by sabotage, according to state TV and informed sources. Both gasoline and diesel supplies were affected, and a cyber attack is suspected as the likely cause. Deputy Oil Minister Jalil Salari stated that efforts are being made to restore all stations by the end of the day, and investigations into the cause are ongoing. This incident follows a previous accusation by Iran against Israel for a cyber attack on gasoline stations in 2021, while Israel and the US claim that Iranian hackers have targeted Israeli water systems.
