A recent study conducted by the Institute for Criminology & Sociology Research in Belgrade, Serbia, examined the properties of the Measuring the Quality of Prison Life (MQPL) survey in Serbia. The survey assesses five dimensions of prisoners' well-being and consists of 21 narrow scales. The study found that the MQPL scales have high reliability and validity, and the central aspects of prisoners' quality of life were identified.
