Abstract

A recent study conducted by the Institute for Criminology & Sociology Research in Belgrade, Serbia, examined the properties of the Measuring the Quality of Prison Life (MQPL) survey in Serbia. The survey assesses five dimensions of prisoners' well-being and consists of 21 narrow scales. The study found that the MQPL scales have high reliability and validity, and the central aspects of prisoners' quality of life were identified. The researchers concluded that MQPL is a valuable tool for assessing the quality of life and social climate in prisons. [Extracted from the article]
