Abstract
- H‐acid, a prevalent pollutant in dyeing wastewater, is primarily utilized in the pharmaceutical and textile industries. However, H‐acid treatment remains a challenge because of its high concentration, degradation resistance and poor biodegradability. This review examines the principles, characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the most recently developed advanced practical H‐acid treatment technologies. Furthermore, this review analyzes the existing issues within these methods and explores potential future development trends. © 2023 Society of Chemical Industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
