Abstract
- This article discusses Ed Rappe's O scale model railroad, which is set in central Pennsylvania in the 1950s and is influenced by the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR). Ed's interest in the PRR began in childhood and led him to join the Pennsylvania RR Technical & Historical Society to learn more about the railroad. He built several small Pennsy-based layouts before converting to O scale. The article also describes the layout design, construction, operations, and the addition of working Pennsy-style signals. Ed continues to refine the layout and is a member of the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical and Historical Society. [Extracted from the article]
