Abstract
- A recent study conducted by King's College London evaluated the effectiveness of the Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training (CRAFT) program in supporting concerned significant others (CSOs) of military personnel with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and common mental disorders. The study found that the UK adaptation of the program, known as UKV-CRAFT, was viewed positively by participants, who highlighted its ability to fill a gap in support services for UK Armed Forces families. However, concerns were raised regarding the confidentiality of participating in the program. The researchers recommend further evaluation of UKV-CRAFT on a larger scale to accurately assess its effectiveness. [Extracted from the article]
