Abstract

A recent study conducted by SIMAD University in Somalia explores the relationship between environmental pollution, degradation, and crop production in the context of climate change. The study found that CO2 and agricultural methane emissions have a positive impact on crop production in the long run, while environmental degradation has a negative impact. The research suggests the need for policy reforms and investments in agriculture research and input markets to enhance environmental quality and farmers' awareness. The study highlights the importance of sustainable crop production in mitigating the effects of deforestation and climate change on low-income economies. [Extracted from the article]
