Abstract

The study's aim is to examine the manufacturer's / supplier's attributes critical for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies' success. The study focuses on Indian private sector EPCs, procuring various electrical items/ equipment. The information was gathered using a field survey and an online survey. Descriptive statistics tools together with independent sample t-tests with a hypothesized mean population parameter were carried out to test the hypothesis and eventually differentiate the impact of each of these ten attributes. The study revealed that 'Tendering-support' and 'Delivery' were critical to EPC's success for both MV/HV switchgear groups and across EPCs turnover categories, whereas rest were important but hygiene factors.
