Abstract

Colorimetric sensing is a simple method for quantitative or qualitative analysis of the target based on color change. Nanofibers are ideal materials for designing non-invasive colorimetric sensors with high sensitivity, fast response and user-friendly due to their high porosity, good flexibility and large specific surface area. Starting from the structure of the sensor, the colorimetric element, carrier element and colorimetric quantification method of the nanofiber-based sensor are introduced. At the same time, the characteristics of the nanofiber-based colorimetric pad, side flow chromatography test paper and microfluidic chip and their application in personalized medical detection are summarized. Finally, the direction and development trend of nanofiber-based sensors in health monitoring, early disease warning and functional improvement are prospected. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
