Abstract
- A recent report from the University of Paris discusses the rare occurrence of gastrocolic fistulas in children and their association with Helicobacter pylori. The report presents the case of a 10-year-old boy who was diagnosed with H. pylori-associated gastritis and gastrocolic fistula. The boy underwent resection surgery and antibiotic therapy, resulting in a successful recovery. This is the first documented case of a gastrocolic fistula in pediatrics related to H. pylori. The research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into this rare complication. [Extracted from the article]
