Abstract
- A study conducted by researchers at Mohammed First University in Oujda, Morocco, has developed a new MC Fast Dose Engine (MC-FDE) for small compact radiation fields generated by the Cyberknife Iris Medical Linac. The MC-FDE model was evaluated based on the precision of reconstructed parameters and the accuracy of dose calculation in water phantom and patient CT datasets. The study found that the proposed MC-FDE model is suitable for use as part of clinical treatment planning systems. The research has been peer-reviewed and published in Radiation Physics and Chemistry. [Extracted from the article]
