THE SKIN OF HAIRLESS MICE. I. THE FORMATION OF CYSTS AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF LIPIDS.

The article focuses on the paper "The Skin of Hairless Mice: The Formation of Cysts and the Distribution of Lipids," by W. Montagna, H.B. Chase and H.P. Melaragon. The isolated disorientated fragments pursue their evolution in the direction of sebaceous gland parenchyma which presently forms cysts. This process together with the chemistry of the lipoids concerned is the subject of this clear and readable account. The paper is illustrated with some unnecessary and completely unhelpful microphotographs.
