Abstract
- This article discusses the differing perspectives of philosophers on the violent conflict between Israel and Hamas and its impact on the civilian population in Gaza. It mentions an open letter titled 'Philosophy for Palestine' signed by over 400 philosophers worldwide, as well as a public refutation by philosopher Seyla Benhabib called 'An Open Letter To My Friends Who Signed 'Philosophy for Palestine'.' Additionally, it highlights an open letter on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza signed by 45 Oxford academics, and a reply to this letter by six Israeli moral philosophers. [Extracted from the article]
