Abstract
- The Jerusalem Biennale, an art festival celebrating contemporary Jewish and Israeli artists, has been tentatively postponed until next spring due to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. However, three of the Biennale's exhibits are currently on display in New York City, where many of the featured artists reside. The Heller Museum at Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion is hosting two exhibitions, while a third exhibit is on display at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan. Other exhibitions intended for the Biennale have been mounted in Buenos Aires and Italy. The festival's founder, Rami Ozeri, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of solidarity and stated that more exhibits will open worldwide in the coming months. [Extracted from the article]
