Abstract
- Singapore's High Court has granted injunctions against the brother of Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, preventing him from making defamatory statements against two government ministers. The injunctions were sought by Law Minister K. Shanmugam and Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, who had demanded that Lee Hsien Yang withdraw allegations made in a Facebook post. The court ruled that Lee Hsien Yang's refusal to remove the post and his continued highlighting of it indicated that he would likely repeat the defamatory allegations. A decision on damages is scheduled for a later hearing. [Extracted from the article]
