Abstract

The article determines the relationship between emotional and social development for boys. It is conceived that the emotional area of development is intermediate between inner chemical changes in the body and the appearance of outer social behavior. In both sexes, the physical and social areas have a low rank order correlation and this is reflected further by the partial correlations which indicate that the joint agreement of these two areas is very low as regards the way they relate to the emotional area.
