Abstract
- Researchers from Jiangsu University in China have developed a dual-emission ratiometric fluorescence sensor for the detection of the drug sulfadiazine (SDZ). The sensor utilizes carbon quantum dots (CQD) and sulfhydryl-modified cadmium telluride quantum dots as fluorescence signals, along with a molecularly imprinted polymer. The sensor demonstrated excellent performance with a low detection limit and a wide linear range. This research provides potential for the detection of other sulfonamide antibiotics and offers insights for other molecular imprinting technologies. [Extracted from the article]
