Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Soochow University in China has shed light on the mechanisms underlying peripheral nerve regeneration. The study focused on exosomes, which are small vesicles that play a role in promoting axonal regeneration and functional recovery after injury. Through RNA sequencing analysis, the researchers identified a regulatory network of non-coding RNAs that target a gene called Rps5, which is involved in promoting axonal regeneration. The findings suggest that exosomes derived from fibroblast and Schwann cells could potentially be used to treat injuries of the peripheral nervous system. [Extracted from the article]
