Abstract

A recent survey conducted by KRYS GROUP and IPSOS in France revealed several key findings related to eye health. The study found that the amount of time children aged 3 to 10 spend using screens has increased by 10% since 2022, with an average of 2 hours and 18 minutes per day. The report also highlighted significant regional disparities in access to eye care, with Parisians waiting an average of 1.7 months for an ophthalmologist appointment compared to 4.7 months in rural areas. As a result, 70% of parents expressed openness to remote eye exams, and 70% believed that these exams could be conducted at an orthoptist practice or optical shop. [Extracted from the article]
