This article discusses the transformation of a beach house in Sydney's north into a relaxed and inviting weekender for a family and their guests. The original two-bedroom weatherboard house was deemed too small and not suitable for entertaining. Interior designer Marco Meneguzzi, along with architect Pierre Della Putta and Tamara Pankiw, were tasked with creating a spacious and welcoming retreat that embraced the stunning waterfront location. The house now features six bedrooms, open-plan living areas, a family room, gym, steam room, cinema, wine cellar, and an indoor golf range. The design incorporates a pink facade with green shutters, inspired by the Italian Riviera, and includes custom furnishings and raffia wallpapers for a laid-back and informal atmosphere.
