Green Genius secures funds for Lithuanian solar-plus-storage.

Renewables company Green Genius has secured €7 million in financing from Latvian bank Citadele Bank to build a solar PV and battery power plant in Lithuania. The plant will be located at the Svyturys-Utenos alus brewery owned by Carlsberg and will provide 100% renewable energy as an energy-as-a-service solution. The project, called InnoSolveGreen, has already received €2.6 million in funding from the EU Innovation Fund.
