Challenges of science in Armenia.

The year 2020 was an extraordinary one for Armenia. The COVID-19 pandemic had a profound effect on diverse aspects of life. The country had not recovered from the aftermath when the war started in the fall of 2020, which further depressed the economy. And 2020 once again reveals the importance and role of science, in particular physics, in overcoming various problems and challenges, as well as in ensuring peace.
