Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at Nanchang University in China aimed to analyze the global research trend of acupuncture treatment for stroke over the past 20 years. The study found that there has been a steady increase in the number of articles about acupuncture treatment for stroke, with the People's Republic of China having the largest number of publications. The study also identified post-stroke conscious cognitive impairment as a research development trend and focus in this field. However, the researchers concluded that more large sample, randomized controlled trials are needed to analyze the efficacy and physiological mechanisms of acupuncture in the treatment of stroke.
