Recent Research from Ocean University of China Highlight Findings in Nanocomposites (Polyamide Thin Film Nanocomposite With In-situ Co-constructed Cofs for Organic Solvent Nanofiltration).

Researchers from Ocean University of China have developed a new thin film nanocomposite (TFN) organic solvent nanofiltration (OSN) membrane using a co-polymerization procedure. The TFN-10075 membrane demonstrated high ethanol permeance and Rhodamine B rejection, as well as superior solvent resistance. The researchers believe that this TFN OSN membrane has potential for industrial organic solvents treatment and pharmaceutical separation and purification.
