Abstract

This article, published in the journal Neuropediatrics, explores the effects of fingolimod treatment on the disease progression in children with CLN3, a neurodegenerative disorder. The study included ten children who were treated with fingolimod for at least one year. The treatment was well tolerated and did not result in any significant side effects. The results suggest that fingolimod may partially alleviate the disease progression in CLN3 patients by influencing secondary immunological reactions. [Extracted from the article]
