Abstract
- The nonlinear Fokas–Lenells system is a popular model which can be wildly applied in the fields of heat pulses in solids, signal processing, circulation system of chemical industry, nonlinear optics, fluid mechanics and so on. The main purpose of this paper focuses on dynamical behavior and optical solitons in optical fibers with the nonlinear Fokas–Lenells equation. Here, we analytically constructed dark solitons, periodic wave solutions and bright solitons for the Fokas–Lenells model through the bifurcation theory of planar dynamical systems. Moreover, some other traveling wave solutions are also derived by means of the complete discriminant system technique and symbolic computation. Finally, numerical results are also given to illustrate the physical properties of the obtained optical soliton solutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
