Abstract
- The article focuses on the serial changes of donor-derived cell-free Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) (ddcfDNA) in pancreas transplant recipients, investigating its potential as a graft rejection biomarker and its ability to distinguish rejection from pancreatitis. Topics include a 2-week ddcfDNA monitoring study after pancreatic transplantation, the correlation between ddcfDNA levels and transplant rejection, and the minimizing invasive biopsies in cases of damaged transplanted tissue.
