Abstract

In a compact B1B2 process, the inner surface of car body needs to be sprayed only with base coat and clear coat, which puts forward high demands to reasonable setting of spraying parameters and trajectory. The commissioning of a process for spraying inner surface of car body with pearl white paint was studied. The compatibility of different paints with spraying parameters, the setting of positions to start up and shut off the spray gun at different trajectory tracking speeds, and the relationship between the takt time of production line and robot spraying time were discussed. A set of improvements to the automation level of robotic spraying on inner surface of car body was proposed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
