Abstract

The article reports on the puberty of children and its relation to their mental growth. Puberty is considered the most important index of maturity for both physical and mental aspects. The relation of puberty to physical development and trait development were studied in connection with height, weight, chest girth and blood pressure to name a few. The results of the study show that differences in traits between the subjects continuous to grow until the end of adolescence. However, differences in height are not very evident after the 14th year.
