Abstract

Researchers from Anderson University in South Carolina have conducted a study on the effects of marjoram extracts on breast cancer cells. The study found that marjoram extracts displayed a cytotoxic effect on breast cancer cells while having no major effects on normal breast tissue cells. The researchers concluded that marjoram extracts could be a promising alternative to chemotherapy in breast cancer treatment, as they can eliminate cancerous cells without inducing noticeable adverse effects on normal breast tissue. This research provides evidence for the potential use of natural compounds in future cancer treatments. [Extracted from the article]
